Information you share
When you send an inquiry, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, phone number, email, vehicle or boat information, requested services, preferred timing, notes, and any photos you upload. Please only include information and photos needed to assess your detailing request.
How we use it
The Golden Garage uses this information to review your request, assess condition, prepare an estimate, contact you, and arrange service. An inquiry does not reserve an appointment or sign you up for a marketing subscription.
Services that help operate the website
Our website uses third-party hosting and storage services. Resend delivers inquiry notifications to our Microsoft 365 business mailbox. These providers process information needed to host the site, store submissions, and deliver email. The main website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives connection information when your browser requests them. Hosting and email providers may retain their own service and security logs under their policies.
Website storage and deletion
Saved inquiries and photos expire 180 days after the request is first saved. Their private website links stop providing access at that point. Expired records and photos are automatically deleted in batches during website visits and new submissions; if the site is inactive or cleanup is temporarily unavailable, storage deletion may occur later. Incomplete uploads are eligible for cleanup after 24 hours.
This rule applies to the website’s copies. Inquiry emails in our business mailbox, downloaded photos, and separate service or transaction records are managed separately and are not automatically erased by the website’s cleanup.
Customer reviews
Review submissions include a display name, email address, star rating, and comments. We use the email to help verify or discuss the review; it is not displayed publicly. If approved, your display name, rating, comments, and review date can appear on the website. Reviews are submitted directly by customers and are not automatically verified purchases. Published reviews stay until removed. Unpublished reviews are eligible for automatic deletion after 180 days during site activity. Email us to request removal of your review. Review submissions also use a temporary hashed network identifier to limit spam.
Access and security
Saved inquiry details and photos require a private access link. Keep these links private. The site uses encrypted connections, upload limits, and submission controls. It also temporarily stores a hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions.
